Marie Sharp's is the best-known hot sauce brand from Belize in Central America. It all started in the '80s, when Marie Sharp began making sauces in her kitchen with Habanero peppers from the family farm. Today her sauces travel all over the world, but the recipe stays the same.
The secret of Marie Sharp's is carrots. The sauces are built on Habanero and vegetables, not just vinegar, which is why they're thick, sweet and packed with flavour. Fiery Hot and Hot Habanero are the classics, Pure Love Pineapple and Mango are perfect with chicken and fish, Smoked Habanero adds a smoky note, while Belizean Heat and Red Hornet are for anyone who wants more heat.
